South African born Elon Musk – considered by many to be a real-life Tony Stark – has revealed a radical new electricity storage system that endeavors to “fundamentally change the way the world uses energy on an extreme scale.”
Musk claims the revolutionary new batteries will herald a fossil fuel free world where households with solar panels will generate their own electricity for their homes and electric cars.
The 10 kWh Powerwall, the cheapest battery (R42 000), comes in a 15 centimetre box that can be hung on any wall inside your house.
