Emmy Awards a 'groundbreaking night', says entertainment reporter

The Emmy Awards made history on Sunday night in Los Angeles, reports EWN's entertainment reporter Nadia Neophytou.

It was such a groundbreaking and history-making night for a lot of pilots and actors.

Lena Waithe became the first African-American woman to win for comedy writing with Aziz Ansari, while Donald Glover became the first to win for comedy series directing.

The Emmys will air prime time at 21:00 on MNet (DStv ch101) on Monday night.
