Dlamini-Zuma to officially join Parliament's back benches today

ANC presidential hopeful Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma will be sworn-in as a Member of Parliament on Thursday.

Dlamini-Zuma's move to Parliament has fueled rumours of a Cabinet reshuffle, reports political analyst Karima Brown.

Many people are speculating whether she will end up a backbencher or whether this is the first step toward that much-anticipated Cabinet reshuffle.

Her entry into Parliamentary politics today signals the fact there is very serious intentions about where she will be playing her role in what remains of President Jacob Zuma's term in office.

Dlamini-Zuma will be redeployed as a Member of Parliament to replace Pule Mabe who has resigned.
