School principals weekend confab on 'Brain Waves of Change'

Dr. Judy Wills, neurologist and former classroom teacher will be a keynote speaker at the International Confederation of Principals Convention hosted by the South African Principals Association at the Cape Town International Convention Centre on Saturday.

The ICP represents over 135 000 school leaders across five continents and the theme is Brain Waves of Change.

She outlines what needs to happen in a school environment.

The important thing is to find out what turns on each child, some kids develop faster in handling things that they hear and some really need to be moving to get the experience.
