The ANC NEC is meeting to take a final decision on whether to appeal a court ruling that nullified the ANC KwaZulu-Natal's 2015 elective conference.
EWN's Clement Manyathela says the meeting scheduled for Friday is said to be a special one rather than the usual party leadership meeting.
The meeting is happening at the time where there are very interesting developments. Makhosi Khoza has just resigned, issues around ANC KZN 2015 elective conference and of course the political killings in KZN.— Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter
Manyathela spoke to presidential hopeful Lindiwe Sisulu who said she is unhappy about the party's refusal to hold a consultative conference.
There are a number of issues to be discussed and the question remains: Will the motion of no confidence in President Zuma be raised, possible reinstatement of corruption charges and the president's lack of leadership capabilities?— Clement Manyathela, EWN reporter
