We all are aware of the ongoing leaks and releasing of vital information pertaining to some of the biggest multinationals and SOEs in the country, but what is happening to those who are coming forward with this information?
Lorraine Martin, is a whistleblower advisor who deals specifically with those who risk their lives to come forward with information.
She joined Afternoon Drive host, Bongani Bingwa about the Protected Disclosures Act (PDA)and the Companies Act and amendments to the PDA some of which are positive and some negative.
Martin says she dealt with a lot of whistleblowers over the years and adds that none of them have never regretted their decision despite the threats that come with being a whistleblower.
