Cape's fashion designers to showcase at international pageant

In August Forever Grey's Brenda Solomons told her inspiring story of finding a career in fashion after over 20 years as a nurse.

Forever Grey Fashion Gallery was established by Brenda Solomons and her co-partners after giving up her nursing career to pursue her passion in fashion design.

Now, the Forever Grey Fashion Gallery gets an opportunity to showcase its work overseas.

The fashion label has sponsored Lebohang Monyatsi, who is taking part in the 2017 Miss Wheelchair World Pageant wearing two of the label's garments.

Monyatsi will be representing South Africa in Warsaw, Poland, on 7 October.

I contacted Lebohang via Facebook. She needed an evening wear and a garment representing your country. She said she didn't have a sponsor and I said not to worry we will sort you out...

Because I was a nurse and worked a lot with wheelchair-bound patients, I knew exactly what I was up to. With those skills in mind I knew what would suit her best.

She is really representing our country very well. I saw her Facebook. We are voting and praying for her that at least if not Miss Wheelchair World she should be in the Top 5.
