Damning Eskom report implicates senior executives - EWN

Minister Lynn Brown has acknowledged receiving Eskom's report into Trillian-McKinsey deals on Monday. Brown declined to comment on the report, saying she is still perusing it.

However, EWN reporter Gia Nicolaides says Brown received the report on 1 September but sent it back for clarification on certain issues.

EWN has seen the answers that the minister was seeking clarifications on. It's quite strange that the minister says she received it on Monday.

Gia Nicolaides, EWN reporter

We have seen it and it contains damning evidence and implicates a number of senior executives at Eskom.

We wanted to hear the ministers thoughts on this because it is some of those executives who have not only lied to the current board but also lied to the minister, which resulted in her misleading Parliament about Eskom paying Trillian.
