KZN Weather Update: Storm begins to clear but gale force winds expected

The huge storms that have been battering Kwa-Zulu Natal are expected to start clearing in the evening, but more extreme weather is expected.

Dipuo Tawana a South African Weather Service forecaster says that they expect to see powerful winds along the coast.

The wind will still be strong along the coast, more from Durban toward the Richard's Bay area. We are looking at gale force winds, winds of about 50 - 60 km/h along that coast, but most of the storms are clearing.
