Is the DA another ANC in the making? Rebecca Davis takes a look

Daily Maverick journalist Rebecca Davis says the DA is not scrutinised enough by the public and could be headed down a slippery slope.

Davis wrote a column asking whether the DA is becoming an ANC-lite. Times Media's Ranjeni Munusamy thinks so.

She explains that the DA is not above petty party politics and expects that there will be more controversy to emerge from the opposition.

Often, the public and the media do not pay close attention to the DA.

According to Davis, infighting and factionalism within the opposition party should be interrogated more closely.

The DA is not given enough attention which often allows it to get away with more than we would allow the ANC to get away with.
