DA’s Natasha Mazzone describes corruption at Eskom as ‘unbelievable’

Natasha Mazzone, the Democratic Alliance’s shadow minister for public enterprises, has described the looting at Eskom as unbelievable.

Parliament’s Public Enterprises Committee has confirmed that its inquiry into Eskom will start on Tuesday next week.

The committee is one of four instructed by National Assembly House Chairperson Cedric Frolick to investigate allegations of state capture at state-owned enterprises.

Mazzone stressed that the investigation will not only focus on Eskom but Transnet and Denel will also be under the spotlight.

Obvious witnesses include the Gupta family, Minister Lynne Brown, Duduzane Zuma and whistleblowers... We have the power to summon anyone and I mean anyone!
