Pravin Gordhan: Ramaphosa must send Zuma to live in Nkandla

Former Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan is convinced Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will win the ANC election in December. He called on Ramaphosa to fire President Jacob Zuma in January.

"The Ramaphosa team must take over in December and in January must tell Zuma to go and live in Nkandla," Gordhan said on Thursday.

Deputy Editor at Financial Mail, Sikonathi Mantshantsha says he agrees with Pravin Gordhan that Zuma must go.

I completely agree with Pravin Gordhan, each day Jacob Zuma is at the helm of the nation is a day too long and we have seen that through the economy.

Sikonathi Mantshantsha, Deputy editor at Financial Mail

Jacob Zuma is sitting on top of the economy, making sure nothing moves and Pravin Gordhan says by January the man must go...

Sikonathi Mantshantsha, Deputy editor at Financial Mail

Of course I can't say I share the his optimism that Zuma will be weeks away from forced retirement but nothing could be better for the people of South Africa and the rest of the continent.
