Deloitte: Businesses have to innovate and find ways to remain relevant

The recently released Deloitte's global predictions report is designed to provide insight into what may offer disruption and growth opportunities across the technology, media and telecommunications sectors.

Africa leader on Telecommunications at Deloitte, Arun Babu, says the rate in which consumers are acquiring smart phones with advanced technologies will soon change the way in which companies interact with them.

He says the report has shown that a number of smart phones will have arctic intelligence capabilities which will disrupt the interaction between consumers and businesses.

The challenge to businesses in emerging markets is to understand the power of these technologies and reimagine businesses.
