Free mobile app helps families find kid-friendly things to do nearby

A mobile app has listed over 10 000 South African businesses that provide child friendly services and products.

Child Friendly SA is a free app which lists Child a wide range of listings for a wide range of child friendly things to do, places to visit, places to eat and drink,

The app shows parties, movies, day trips, tutor classes, emergency numbers, free events, holiday programmes and much more.

Co-founder Charl Du Plessis says the app creates a convenient experience by having the data stored on the phone.

He explains that the app is designed by parents for parents.

Some of the features include, in-App call and email, Uber integration and the option to invite friends and families to join you for an event and over 200 categories.

You can call directly from within the app or email directly.

Listings are presented based on what is closest to families and updating regularly.

The app is available on Android and iOS.
