Mpofu says President Zuma uses the courts as stall tactic

As the Zuma state capture review bid continues, Advocate Dali Mpofu made his closing statements on behalf of the UDM and Cope.

EWN reporter Barry Bateman says that Mpofu's arguments centred around the fact that the Public Protector did have the power to made the order she did on the remedial action state capture's commission of inquiry.

Bateman says that Mpofu wants both the Public Protector and President to be instructed to set up a commission of inquiry within weeks of the order being made in these proceedings.

[Mpofu] reminded the court that we are dealing with a President who has a history of using the court to delay. He refereed to spy tapes and Nkandla.
