When will Qedani Mahlangu testify over 141 Esidimeni deaths?
While the Esidimeni arbitration hearing has confirmed that former Gauteng Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu is willing to testify, a date has yet to be set.
Mahlangu is expected to answer to the role she played in the decision and execution of the Esidimeni project.
141 mentally ill patients died as a result of being moved to illegal NGOs. Mahlangu is said to be studying at the London School of Economics and has said she will avail herself once she has completed her examinations.
Eyewitness News report Masego Rahlaga says questions have been asked about when exactly she will return.

Rahlaga says former senior Gauteng health officials, including the suspended head of department and director of mental health, have refused to give testimony.
Earlier this week lawyers representing the state did say that the former HOD, Dr Dr Barney Selebano and the former director of mental health in Gauteng Makgabo Manamela did not want to cooperate.Masego Rahlaga, EWN reporter
Meanwhile the African National Congress in Gauteng says Mahlangu has indicated that she is willing to testify and has been in contact with the office of arbitrator.
The provincial spokesperson Motaletale Modiba says Mhalangu believes it is in her interest to appear before the arbitration.
We have been in communication with her on her availability for the arbitration process, and what she indicated was that she did not have a problem appearing, as to when she will be appearing, it is a logistic she is working on in liaison with the office of the arbitrator.Motaletale Modiba, Gauteng ANC spokesperson
