National ANC spokesperson, Zizi Kodwa, used the birthday of Oliver Tambo to pen a letter, detailing his feelings on the state of Tambo's once "glorious movement".
In his letter published by the Pretoria News to mark Tambo's centenary celebrations, Kodwa writes:
"I'm saddened to report to you that your glorious movement is more divided than ever before with some among us elevating personality cults above unity and cohesion of the ANC".
Kodwa goes on to say that the revolutionary alliance is at an all time low with the SACP contemplating going it alone in the upcoming elections.
Grootes recalls an interview done with Kodwa last year after the Nkandla judgment.
I asked him (Kodwa) if he was proud to have Jacob Zuma as leader and he couldn't answer. It was a defining moment for me on radio.— Stephen Grootes, 702 anchor and EWN senior political correspondent
