Forensic investigator 101: Learn the basics about crime scene investigation

Ever dreamed of becoming a forensic investigator? Pierre Joubert, director at Forensic and Firearm Training Academy will be offering a day course focusing on transferring of evidence from the crime scene, avoiding contamination and legal aspects.

Joubert has more than 35 years experience in forensics from the SAPS science lab and as a lecturer.

We will discuss the role of the first responder, the different search methods to finding the evidence and how to record a crime scene and lastly the coping mechanisms on how to deal with all these crimes scenes you will be encountering.
