I would like to see Danny stand with his spine erect - Jennifer Ferguson
The #MeToo campaign last month gave Jennifer Ferguson the courage to finally share a story which took place 20 odd years ago in which she accuses South African Football Association (Safa) boss Danny Jordaan of raping her.
The former African National Congress (ANC) Member of Parliament and singer responded to Jordaan's statement in which he denies the allegations, saying he is employing the same tactics as Jacob Zuma wanting her to approach the courts first.
It took Jordaan two weeks to finally respond to Ferguson's allegations.

I do not have a big chain of lawyers that I am paying fortunes to.Jennifer Ferguson, artist and former ANC MP
Ferguson says she is offering Jordan a mediation process that will allow them the dignity of meeting as two human beings where there is ownership of the whole story.
It allows the ownership of a story, an event that's happened, where there was a transgression and violation.Jennifer Ferguson
What Danny Jordaan is doing now is employing legal ploys so that he doesn't have to ever take ownership of a story.Jennifer Ferguson, artist and former ANC MP
Ferguson says she is now in negotiations with her lawyers, a route she is been trying to avoid. She says she has realised this is a paralysis on the side of Jordan because now a fourth woman has come out attesting to be raped by him.
She says she would like to see Jordaan coming out to face her and speak out with a sense of conviction and stop hiding behind his lawyers.
Unfortunately we had to escalate this, we are talking to our legal friends, which is what I really wanted to avoid. in order to avoid the courts it takes an ethical musculature, maturity and the capacity to take ownership of what happened.Jennifer Ferguson, artist and former ANC MP
