EFF says stands by Palestine in a bid to isolate and boycott Israel

On Thursday the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) marched to the Israeli embassy in Pretoria to display their solidarity with the Palestinians.

Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF Spokesperson spoke to 702's Afternoon Drive host Bongani Bingwa that he is unaware of what took place in Parliament during President Jacob Zuma's question and answer session as he was in Pretoria protesting.

We did something meaningful today in relation to our politics of progressive internationalism.

Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF Spokesperson

In 2005, the Palestinian civil society made a call to the international community the ways in which we can contribute towards their struggle, through an international isolation of Israel through boycott and sanctions.

Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF Spokesperson

This is a peaceful call. They are not asking us for guns, they are not asking us for military intervention but they are asking us for basic non violent exercises. Which is to not visit Israel.

Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, EFF Spokesperson
