Beat the December heat with free swimming lessons

Swimming South Africa and the City of Joburg will soon be offering free swimming lessons.

At least 20 000 children were taught to swim through the organisation in 2016.

This year's holiday programme is still being developed with the details of the venues yet to be confirmed.

Stephen Grootes spoke to the Mass Participation & Club Development National Coordinator at Swimming SA, Mafata Modutoane.

Currently we are working on a holiday programme in partnership with various municipalities. In the next two weeks or so we will have finalised our plan that will be starting now in December.
