Jacques Pauw not nervous about being pursued by Sars and state security agencies

After the Sunday Times published details pertaining to President Jacob Zuma's tax information the South African Revenue Service (Sars) says it may take legal action against investigative journalist Jacques Pauw.

Sandile Memela, Sars Spokesperson says they are engaging with their legal representatives to determine a way forward because confidential taxpayer information has been divulged which is a clear contravention of the law.

On Thursday afternoon Pauw spoke to Afternoon Drive, Bongani Bingwa about the possible legal action taken against against him.

Pauw says he is not nervous and certainly expected this type of response from law enforcement agencies.

We thought it would come earlier. The fact that it took the state security agencies five days to read four paragraphs from my book and then come to a decision like this says everything about their efficiency.
