Truecaller app setting up shop in SA, its fastest growing market worldwide

South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt are among the top 20 countries in the world being plagued by unwanted spam calls, according to a study by Truecaller.

Truecaller is a popular mobile app that reveals the caller ID of private numbers and allows users to call-block certain mobile numbers.

The app identifies unknown incoming calls and protects cellphone users from spam calls and spam messages, explains CCO Ted Nelson.

South Africa is Truecaller's fastest growing market and the app plans to expand its operations on the continent.

Truecaller makes your communication safe and efficient.
