False blanket statements used to fire Zimbabwe's vice president says reporter

On Monday, it was reported that Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa was axed as vice president of Zimbabwe.

Mnangagwa has been accused of fanning factionalism in Zanu-PF and plotting to overthrow the 93-year-old ruling party leader, Robert Mugabe.

Cyprian Muketiwa-Ndawana, a newspaper columnist, spoke to 702's Bongani Bingwa about this. He says the allegations against Mnangagwa are incorrect because they are unsubstantiated.

If they were true he could have been afforded due process.
