Budweiser campaign tries to woo SA hearts and minds (and thirsty throats)

Every week The Money Show’s Bruce Whitfield asks branding and advertising expert Andy Rice to share with him the week’s advertising “heroes” and “zeroes”.

This week, Rice critiqued Budweiser’s South African “King of Beers” posters and billboards.

They’re proclaiming the arrival of Budweiser as a proper brand in the country.

Rice gave Budweiser a “hero” rating.

He also mentioned the launch of alcohol-free “Castle Free”.

This week’s “zero” rating goes the Kulula’s “Don’t be a travel hater” ad.
