Africa State of Mind with Lee Kasumba: On empowering women in the economy

Ugandan radio and TV presenter, writer, singer, Lee Kasumba hosts a podcast series focusing on Africans doing amazing work. She believes Africa State of mind is all about opportunities and all the amazing qualities that make us African.

In this episode, Kasumba speaks to Dr. Judy Dlamini, a multi-skilled and a self-made, successful businesswoman about changing careers and living life to the fullest.

She also catches up with Kenyan gender advocate Vivian Onano who spoke about the need for improved investment in empowering women in order move economies forward.

We are the largest demographic, and yet we are not represented when it comes to politics. I mean then how do you expect our issues to be addressed.
