Zuma using his prerogative to show he's in charge: Karima Brown

President Jacob Zuma was in the National Council of Provinces on Thursday for his final oral reply session for the year.

He has denied his Cabinet reshuffles defy logic and asserted his prerogative to make changes.

Zuma’s shuffled his Cabinet 12 times in 7 years.

Meanwhile, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa emphasised once again that state capture is a serious issue that needs to be fought.

Political analyst Karima Brown says Zuma is simply saying he is in charge.

I think President Zuma is basically saying to fellow ANC leaders that he is in charge and he will exercise his prerogative and that he really doesn't have to account.
