Department of Trade and Industry launches One Stop Shop for investors

This past Saturday, Invest SA, the Department of Trade and Industry investment division, launched its latest One Stop Shop in Durban.

The aim of the One Stop Shop is to make available all government services under one roof. This is set to be available in all of the country's provinces.

President Jacob Zuma opened the One Stop Shop in Durban.

Ray White attended the launch, to see what government services will be made available.

What this is, is if Stephen Grootes Incorporated* decides it wants to come into this country, they arrive in Durban, go to this one stop shop and you will find Sars there, Home Affairs, Department of Agriculture.

You will also get the Intellectual Properties Commission, you can then invest and set up your company. It can take you a matter of hours.
