Some exceptional South Africans go the extra mile when faced with the plight of the poor – and put their compassion into action.
Johan Scott is one of these people. This Heidelberg resident has his own unique way to help feed the hungry: he plants crops on his sidewalk.
These crops, which include beans, onions, tomatoes, eggplants and others, are free for people to take.
