Driving investment and creating jobs through InvestSA's One Stop Shops

21 November 2017 7:02 PM

InvestSA has launched its latest One Stop Shop in KwaZulu Natal, bringing hope for more investment and services being available to citizens.

The KwaZulu Natal launch of InvestSA's One Stop Shop raised hope of greater investment and job creation in South African communities.

Government plans to open One Stop Shops in all of South Africa's provinces.

Rory Voller, Commissioner of the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), says that InvestSA's One Stop Shop is the first step in addressing regulatory issues people experience with government services.

The One Stop Shop was unveiled by President Jacob Zuma. Also attending the event were Deputy Trade and Industry Minister Bulelani Magwanishe, KwaZulu Natal Premier Willies Mchunu, KwaZulu Natal Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs MEC Sihle Zikalala and eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede.

A common theme at the launch was the regulatory challenges investors and citizens face in the country.

President Zuma said that the One Stop Shop provide an opportunity for South Africa to be an attractive investment destination.

For citizens, the One Stop Shops will be more convenient, as all government services are under one roof.
