Terence Tracey drove to London in a Hilllman Imp!

Last year Terence Tracey embarked on a trip with his Hillman Imp from Johannesburg, up the African continent to London, England. He successfully completed the trip and returned to South Africa...

This year his car was returned to Port Elizabeth and Terence embarked on a roadshow, giving presentations of his trip to car clubs and other interested groups. One of the people he visited on this trip was Chris Venter who had travelled from Cape Town to Dublin and raised approximately R2.4million for a Red Cross Children's Hospital. Chris unfortunately contracted Bilharzia on this trip in Malawi and is now left blind and bedridden.

A benefit auction of memorabilia from Terence's trip was held last week to help cover Chris Venter's medical bills... Even the Imp was on display at the event!

Gushwell Brooks spoke to Terence to hear about the trip and to enquire about Chris' condition...
