Listen to this sweet and hilarious account from a CapeTalk listener.
Africa Melane, standing in for John Maytham, shared a story of a 9-year-old young girl who booked an R18K two-day-long trip to Paris for her family of five using her father’s credit card while her parents were asleep after guessing her father’s passcode on his phone…
The CapeTalk listener Sally called in to share her story.
When she was just 10-years-old living in a small town in Zimbabwe, Sally had a huge crush on a boy in her class called Tod.
To make him aware how much she liked him, she secretly bought him a penknife using her parent's store card!
Though she got into tons of trouble afterward, she says it didn't matter...because all she cared about was that he knew how she felt about him.
