Chan says that this acidic wine is used in the production of Brandy, fortified Sherry and Sparkling wine.

Chan adds that the grapes of the Chenin Blanc are grown along a river in France. He adds that the wine has the ability to adapt to a wide variety of tastes, making it a great companion for most courses.
