Choosing a medical aid to suit your needs can be a daunting task, especially having to understand all the jargon used and the wide range of medical aid products on offer.

She says the most important thing is to have a hospital cover and you can work out other things as you go.

All medical aids have different rules, so you have to have a clear understanding of what your medical aid offers.

Whoever sells you medical aid must explain it very clearly, and you, on the other hand, need to ask relevant questions - there must be no grey areas.
