Carrim says that that Naspers Bekker, has a meeting him to give up an encryption policy that belongs to the ANC 2012 conference and the government since 2008.
When it comes to ANN7, Carrim says he has his own views, but says what was leaked between MultiChoice and SABC was already known in the ministry. He adds that as a former minster, he felt it was not his place to comment until now, because of extraordinary circumstances.
Naspers is being so disingenuous to put it mildly, and so is MultiChoice. It's almost boarding on the absurd. So it is that I have to put the facts before the public and they must decides for themselves.
— Yunus Carrim, Former Communications Minister
