Teen holiday coding courses give kids a head start

CodeSpace will be running High School Holiday Coding Courses from 11 - 13 December. It can assist teenagers between the ages of 17 and 20 years old to begin preparing for future career prospects.

Program leader at CodeSpace, Tegan Crous says all that is needed from the teenagers is a desire to learn.

She says Code Catalyst is a 3-day coding boot camp in which they can learn a great deal over a short period of time.

They will start with HTML and CSS and end up building an application in JavaScript. The idea is to get young people ready for their futures.
