Police Minister Fikile Mbalula received some backlash on social media on Tuesday for sharing an old image in a tweet referencing the apparent seizure of R2.5-million meant to buy votes from ANC delegates attending the national elective conference this weekend.
Twitter users reacted to the tweet, after a search on reverse.photos. One of the users found that the image is in fact a large sum of money intercepted in 2016.
