[LISTEN]Announcement of ANC top 6 should be made by Sunday morning: Zizi Kodwa

African National Congress (ANC) spokesperson Zizi Kodwa says provincial branches are slowly making their way to the Nasrec Expo Centre where the party's new leadership will be elected this weekend.

Kodwa says the official programme is set to start on Saturday, where a nominations process will begin at 3pm before the voting takes place.

He says the top six should be announced by Sunday morning.

We think that we should be able to start in the morning as planned, we should be able to have an open session by the outgoing president of the ANC and nominations whether in terms of the old formula, it will start around 3 in the afternoon tomorrow.

If we nominate top six 3'o clock on Saturday, by Sunday morning as we arrive we should be able to make an announcement of the top six and take nominations of the rest of the leadership.
