After long delays, allegations of fake delegates and problems with registrations, the ANC’s national conference has now adopted credentials.

This means the programme will continue as scheduled.

A total of 4776 delegates are set to cast their ballots for the next ANC president.

ANC deputy secretary-general Jessie Duarte called an ad hoc press conference to explain the process of adopting credentials.

Duarte explained why the ANC had to delay the credentials by a day, and how it is complying with the judgment of the Court.
