ConCourt: Shaun Abrahams put on notice not to withdraw charges against Zuma

The Council for the Advancement of the South African Constitution (Casac) says prosecutions boss Shaun Abrahams has been put on notice not to withdraw corruption charges against President Jacob Zuma.

The Constitutional Court issued the directive after the group asked it to confirm the High Court order which set aside Abrahams' appointment.

Clement Manyathela spoke to Casac's Lawson Naidoo.

The Court is aware that any decision that Abrahams might take will be tainted by allegations of bias.

Lawson Naidoo, Executive Secretary at Council For The Advancement Of The Constitution (Casac)

If he does do so he needs to inform us in advance so that we can take the appropriate legal action.
