Gynecologist Dr Howard Manyonga says that you can feel left out when you’re pregnant, but you can still participate in activities as long as they are recommended for pregnancy.

Dr Manyonga says that you need to always carry water to ensure you’re hydrated. He adds that pregnant women need to wear loose fitting shoes because when it’s hot and you’re on your feet, they tend to swell.
Alcohol consumption during pregnancy can have a lifelong physical and mental effect on your baby. Pregnant women and couples trying to conceive should not drink any alcohol, as Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders cannot be reversed.

Dr Manyonga says that there’s not harm if you’re eating in moderation. He adds that if you’re not watching the amount that you consume, it can be detrimental to your health.
