Nature Conservationist warns of dangers around destructive nature apps

Nature Conservationist Tim Neary says that nature apps can teach you about animals and their sounds, but the issue around these apps is using them around wildlife.

It’s an unnatural calling system says Neary, he adds that nature apps tend to attract grumpy wildlife.

So often the call that is being recorded is a distress call, and you then end up playing the distress call of a bird in your garden.

Neary says that issues around using the app stem from not understanding enough about the calls.

There are some apps that I’ve seen that actually get 4 or 5 different calls.

These kind of apps are even worse because people want to see if the calls.
