TV personality Desmond Dube talks about joining the King Kong cast on stage

He is one of the most recognisable faces in the South African entertainment. Comedian, actor and theatre performer, Desmond Dube once again brings his considerable acting talents to the stage as he takes on the role of Pop in the theater production 'King Kong'.

Africa Melane chats to Desmond Dube about his role, life in the spotlight and recently joining the King Kong cast.

Dube says that he started performing in theatre when he was still in the Eastern Cape. He adds that theatre got him to Johannesburg, which gave him a chance to do what he really loved.

Dube jokingly admits that the film industry stole him from theatre. He adds that his body can feel it if he hasn’t performed on stage.
