Action against De Lille is a question of a good governance, says Selfe

She has accused the DA's regional executive of wanting to get rid of her in order to have Minister Bonginkosi Madikizela as the next Executive Mayor.

I have written to the Mayor saying that she should kindly desist from making comments of this nature because these are quite untrue. This is a question of good governance and to safeguard our reputation of having a clean and effective government.

James Selfe, DA Federal Chair

The party's federal executive is set to discuss the allegations of political mismanagement and maladministration leveled against the mayor this weekend.

On Sunday the Federal Executive will sit with the allegations that have been made and her explanation, and then we will take whatever decisions need to be taken about that.
