On Tuesday, President Jacob Zuma announced the appointment of a commission of inquiry to be headed by Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo after a year-long delay.

Political analyst Karima Brown takes a look at the implications.

One of the big issues is that the commission could be a never-ending affair. This was the concern express by advocate Thuli Madonsela.
