The Political Desk: ANC NEC to be elected this week and what of Zuma's fate?

The African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee will sit again this week.

While the party's national working committee is set to be elected, President Jacob Zuma's fate may be on the agenda this time.

Political editor at the Business Day Natasha Marrian shares details on this and more.

It is the first ordinary NEC meeting of the year, the one held last wek was a special NEC meeting with a very limited agenda and the prospect of the recall of the current state president is definitely possibly on the agenda.

It will elect the powerful 15 member national working committee of the ANC who basically oversee the daily running of the party.
