The National Prosecuting Authority's (NPA) Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) is expected to serve a preservation order on Gupta-linked McKinsey and Trillian on Tuesday to safeguard assets worth R1.6-billion in terms of racketeering laws.
Corruption Watch executive director, David Lewis says the order needs to be followed up with prosecutions of implicated individuals within Eskom, Transnet, SABC as well as some of the Cabinet Ministers.

Lewis says the courts have empowered the Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa with appointing the new head of the NPA and thinks he should act on it as soon as possible.

Lewis says there are changes within the NPA and there will be more in the coming months because Cyril Ramaphosa is at the helm of the ANC.
He says the good people within the NPA will feel liberated y such a move.
