Rogue cop Morris 'Captain KGB' Tshabalala has been arrested while visiting his parole officer, reports 702 Afternoon Drive host Stephen Grootes.
The man has a chequered history and EWN's Barry Bateman reminds us he was reported o quite widely in 2017 when the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) said it would be investigating allegations into his conduct, and how he managed to get back into the police.
Because his criminal record goes back to 1994 where he was involved in an armed robbery in Mamelodi. He was then convicted of that in 1996 but never served any time. He just disappeared off the radar.— Barry Bateman, EWN senior reporter

It is alleged he was involved in cash-in-transit heists while serving as a crime intelligence officer in Saps, and top police officers are covering up for him.
