Thabo Masebe, Gauteng Government spokesperson says that they have accepted Selebano's resignation.

As to whether Selebano will face discipline now that he is no longer part of the Gauteng Health Department, Masebe say this is no longer needed.

There was a disciplinary process ongoing - It was due to resume this month. But with this latest development, it means there is no longer a need for a disciplinary process.
