Nepal - what you didn't see on TV

Matthew Savides flew to Nepal with Gift of the Givers to document rescue efforts amidst the devastation following a second earthquake which hit the country last Tuesday - the epicentre of which was just 76kms east of the capital Kathmandu.

Reuters are reporting that the death toll in Nepal is now the highest on record for the small Himalayan country. The two quakes have been responsible for 8,583 deaths.

There were entire villages that no-one got to for at least a week. So even if there were survivors there's weren't anymore. I recon there were whole villages wiped out
